Dr. Mayhew is Professor of Philosophy at Seton Hall University, where he has taught for nearly twenty years. He has written or edited nine books by or about Ayn Rand, and his most recent books in ancient philosophy (his specialization) are Prodicus the Sophist (Oxford University Press) and Aristotle: Problems (Loeb Classical Library, Harvard University Press). He is currently preparing for publication Ayn Rand’s The Unconquered (a play based on We the Living).

Dr. Mayhew is Professor of Philosophy at Seton Hall University, where he has taught for over fifteen years. He has written or edited eight works by or about Ayn Rand, and his most recent book in ancient philosophy (his specialization) is Plato: Laws 10 (Oxford University Press, 2008). He has two forthcoming books, one from Oxford University Press, the other from Harvard University Press.
