Anthem Foundation for Objectivist Scholarship

The Anthem Foundation Moves to Irvine, California

Irvine, CA, October 15, 2008—The Anthem Foundation for Objectivist Scholarship, a nonprofit organization that supports universities and colleges, has relocated its operations from Campbell, California, to Irvine, California. The move marks the culmination of seven years of steady growth for the Foundation and sets the stage for an expansion of activities.

“Anthem’s mission remains at core the same,” said Debi Ghate, recently appointed senior director. “The Foundation provides grants for the benefit of academic professionals engaged in serious, scholarly work based on the corpus and philosophy of the 20th-century writer Ayn Rand. With our recent restructuring, we have significantly expanded Anthem’s ability to provide resources to those in academia interested in understanding her ideas.”

The Anthem Foundation was incorporated in 2001. With an initial endowment of $10,000, the Foundation has since amassed total contributions of more than $1.8 million and has provided funding to support academic scholarship at 17 universities. The new address of the Anthem Foundation is 2121 Alton Parkway, Suite 225, Irvine, California 92606. Information about the Foundation is on the Internet at anthemfoundation.org.
