Anthem Foundation for Objectivist Scholarship

Fellowship at Chapman University Renewed

Irvine, CA, November 30, 2011—The Anthem Foundation is pleased to announce a one-year gift to Chapman University in support of the continuation of the Anthem Foundation Fellowship for the Study of Objectivism in Law and Philosophy, which has been held by Dr. Amy Peikoff since 2008.

Said Dr. Peikoff, “The continuation of the fellowship this year is particularly valuable to me because I will be teaching, for the first time, a course on Information Privacy Law. That course is aiding work on my book on the ‘right’ to privacy, a project which has been supported in numerous ways, throughout my career, by the Anthem Foundation.”

Debi Ghate, senior director of the Anthem Foundation, commented on the renewal. “This is the fourth gift the Anthem Foundation has made to Chapman University in support of the Fellowship for the Study of Objectivism in Law and Philosophy held by Dr. Peikoff, a fact which speaks to the valuable contributions she has made to the advancement of the study of Rand’s philosophy in academia during her time at Chapman.”
